Fuel pump positive in the boot normally comes from a relay that is controlled by the ecu. So, now you are using 2 relays to control 1 pump. But if the first relay doesn't work, neither will your pump.
First check: when you turn the ignition on do you get a feed on the injectors? When not check main relay.
