Keithcdb, trust me, you won't get a years free subs for a viewing card not being authorised.

customer service is also better and free to ring unlike sky...i have had sky HD for over a year and my dad has the new virgin HD..and its far better so yes i have compared.

also with the new virgin you can record 2 channels at once and watch a 3rd.
