Hmmm, extra cash might be a problem.. I'm saving for a deposit on a house at the moment and dont really want to tie up much more in a car than I've got tied up in the Civic to be honest, I will have around £8,000 to split between one or two cars depending on the option I go for.

Any ideas what other cars would fit the bill for Option 2 and Option 3? ....must have reasonable MPG, decent build and not be french or italian.
