Different car but i fitted a new clutch (AP markings) to a 306 TD a couple of weeks ago and it slipped on the first outing
, took it apart and couldnt see anything wrong so fitted the old pressure plate with the new clutch plate and it was fine.
Seems that some of the pressure plates are very lazy.
that would be MY call with this issue! so would need to be replaced again!
