no its not a s1 wheel, the s1 came with the xr3i steering wheel as std just like the s2 did, that wheel is a rs optional extra one which was avalible at the time the s1 was released and most people paid the extra to have one, that wheel could be fitted to any ford on sale at the time with the correct boss
