I know its a pain in the ass mate you see a mint car and you just want it but trust me from a previous experience when you buy a motor make sure you are 100% happy with the car!! if your not happy with the car walk away and if its something minor like rust or dents etc you can haggle but thats not the point im getting at here cos that bits can all be fixed but people knocking on your door asking for the car back cos its on hpi or something isnt a thing you want lol or finding out its a ringer or worse a write off lol!!
if i was you i would just walk away if your not sure but if he comes up with a v5 and youve done the relevant history checks well fire on and happy motoring
