In theory if you have a good spark, fuel and good timing it should start. Make sure the oil cap is on and look for leaks as karlos said. I checked my system by tapeing up the exhaust and putting a carrier bag over the metering unit and do the airfilter up so it is airtight. I removed the dumpvalve and fitted a home made valve. It was a washer welded to a tube with a tyre valve through the washer. I then pressurised the system to about 4-5 psi with a tyre inflator on a compressor. You will hear the leaks if you have any and its supprising how many and where they come from. BEWARE OF THE CAP DOES NOT BLOW OFF IN YOUR FACE. Only put about 4-5psi in !!
