best bet would be to stage a picket out side the shop saying to customers going in how you were done up like a kipper by maplins and nobody else should have the same happen to them etc etc, they will probably call the old bill but at least you get to feel better.
i would also take the item you still have and return it to them even if you can't get a refund,that way they know your p'd off.
