Right my uncles saph is running like a bag of nails. Its been standing for years, and only comes out evey now and then to mot then park it back up. Got serviced last year, and new plugs and leads fitted but been running shit for a long time.

The problem is if you plant your foot it just splutters and doesnt really do anything. You have to slowly take it up through the revs but sometimes when it hits boost it hesitates then bangs.

He bought the car 16 years ago as a engine bay fire. It was originally 300bhp, got the rolling road printout to prove it. But with the fire he had to replace the loom and injectors and a few other things in the bay. So he just put standard stuff back on i think.

We got it out yesterday just to give it a run, i noticed the injectors are yellows, and the actuator is screwed nearly all the way in

Any ideas whats up with it? I recon its still got the chip ecs for 300bhp but the injectors are standard. What injectors should they be? or is there more wrong with it? sensor fucked or something?
