I sold a set of 48's off a xe with manifold, filters and linkage for £500 delivered, you need a Filter King and thats about it, Jaws still runs the stock xe pump on his setup although a facet red top is peanuts new and not a lot 2nd hand.
It very much depends what you want from the engine, in Dovboys case carbs WILL work fine
