First rave in Muswell Hill squat in 1988. It was all over at a massive rave in 1993 near Winchester for me. Can't remember the name but there were near 40,000 people there in a lot of mud. Highlights for me were Labrynth in Dalston, The Brain in Wardour Street 1991. Didn't like Rage in the West End even though everyone went on about it.
Had the records, did the DJ thing. Loved it all but it all sounds so dated now.
Slipmatt at Fantasia was the best tape. Listened to it over and over during summer 1992. It starts with The Magic Fantasy remix of We Are Hardcore on Production House Records.
