Default extremely bad rolling road experience!!!!!!!!!bit Long winded sorry....

Today i have had the worst experience with my car,to the point i am so angry and feel so ripped off that im at a 50/50 decision weather to just get rid,and give up on the modded fords altogether!

When my 1.9 cvh with big cooler etc was in my frst,it was still running standard injectors,non chip on ofab.I took it to torque of the devil to try and get it setup on standard boost just so that i could drive it.it ran like a pig,had falt spots and splutters throughout the rev range.Chris siad he'd tried his best,but it was running lean so had to abort. He had a no bullsh*t atitude and told it how it was.I could not fault what he did to my car,and did it within an hour.And was more than happy with the job done

Even running lean it was a completely different car.it drove lovely. I since fitted the engine etc into my mk3 cab.I went and got a chip from bayjoo through grove garage for my spec.I fitted integralle injectors,and map sensor and again,the car run like a pig.I was desperate to get the car setup for this weekend(but more importantly just so that i could drive the thing) and torque of the devil managed to pull the strings to fit me in.

When i got there i advised that id been told that the fuel reg needed adjusting to a specific setting.He set out to do that right away.....but he found that the pump would not supply more than 2.7 bar.he aborted the session before he started.He stated it seemed the pump was knackered.It was a standard escort cossie pump.I took the car away,brought a new uprated cossie pump(good for about 450bhp). Obviously they couldnt fit me in till after the weekend but i was impatient. I found a rolling road in weybridge that said they would be able to sort my car no problems,and that they've done loads of them(even though they dont specialise in fords) I explained the whole situation,and they could fit me in this morning.I thought that a car up on a rolling road is pretty simple for the technicians so it sounded good to me.

I turned up i explained again(even though id already meantioned it before) about the fuel pressure needing setting. The matey seting up the car didnt even know where to fit the pressure gauge in the frst rail.I pointed it out..... It then took them 30 mins to try and find the right adaptors to fit the gauge.I also explained that i wasnt sure what boost it was running,as i'd wound the actuator in a few turns as it was set on 7psi and i was aiming for the car to run 18psi. They finally set the fuel pressure then..........................GAVE IT A FULL ON POWER RUN......................WITHOUT A BOOST GAUGE!!!!!!!!!!after he did that i told him about 5 times that i didnt know what boost it was running but he didnt even seem to listen to me.4 power runs later i told the matey there was a take off to fit a boost gauge,he said "ah wicked,saves me a load of work!!! (he obviously never heard of a T piece then???????)
I then showed them where the co adjuster is and they were really suprised and said "thats cool,are they all fitted with them as standard????" i thought they were taking the piss so i didnt answer.They then stated the car was getting warm and to leave it to cool.(for about 20 mins!!!!!!) and they must of done this about 6 - 7 times(couple of times leaving it for up to 30 mins just sitting there!!!)with them disapearing out back.It turns out the car was only running 7 psi so my heart came back up to my chest.even though they had no clue and neither did i of what it was running.then the bloke would turn the car straight on and give it instant death.it was missing at about 3000 rpm,then would clear itself,then pop and bang at about 5000rpm.They kept doing the same thing over and over again.when they tried to raise the boost with the bleed valve,it wouldnt bleed more than 10psi. To test if it was the bleed valve,they removed it so the pipe was just off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!the boost twanged round to about 25-30 psi,they quickly let off and looked at me happy cos they had worked out the bleed valve was knackered.I said "oh well,i dont want one on there anyway,as i want it adjusted by the actuator(as recomended by the turbo builder). The bloke pissed off again for about another 20 - 25 mins and came back saying he'd modded it.now instead of winding it right in and open it out bit by bit,he just put it on and power runned it.it swang rnd to about 28psi.he kept winding it in bit by bit(power running it every time!! five goes later he was down at about 14 psi but the car popped and banged at 4000 rpm.
They kept saying its your plugs...you need new ones. I then told them THEY ARE NEW,and the leads!they then turned the boost down to 11 and instead of 4000rpm,ti popped and banged at 5000 rpm. They kept turning the fuel pressure down as they said it was running rich.The car stil ran like a bucket of shit.They said (theres a massive improovement now,and youve now got 200bhp....(dead on) and when you came in it only had 170bhp....thats good gains.When i told them with my cars spec i should have about 260bhp,they said,yeah,with new Uprated plugs you would!!!and that because ive got standard rst ones,the boost is blowing the spark out!!!!(AT 12psi!!!) They told me thats all they can do,unless i fit new plugs...four hours later!!!!!!!!!!
They told me that they would do me a favour and only charge me for 2.5 hours.When i told them i wasnt happy with that,they siad,well,chris drew a blank,and we've carried on where he stopped!!!!! i said,no,chris didnt even start the car...(because of the pump issue) and the matey replied..well chris charged you the minimum charge(£30 for 1/2 on the rollers) and didnt even flick the switch,and your complaining that im charging you for working on the car.I told them" but what have you done,it still runs like a bag of shit! their reply was,it was really lean when it came in and now its running safe. They then said the map on the chip is shit and i should complain to who i bought it off!!!!can you fucking believe that!!!
they blocked my car in and said i had to pay £205!,and they said your lucky we are doing you a favour as we could charge you for 4 hours!
The car runs so bad that it wont even start with the remote start,doesnt idle,and when i got it home ive noticed its puffing out blue smoke now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i opened the bonnet and they didnt even block back up the boost gauge takeoff!!!!!!!

im totally disgusted, and feel robbed, the car is no better off,infact its alot worse as it smokes now..........

sorry for being so long winded,but i wanted to explain the whole situation as im still in disbelief of it all,and want to know if im seeing straight,or if im in the wrong in any way whatsoever to feel the way i feel
