I do it differently by disconnecting the pump MOTOR(multiplug at front), turn ignition to 1 which opens the abs valves allowing normal operation/passage of fluid, then use a GUNSONS EEZIBLEED, works perfect for me everytime, I do it twice a year this way when renewing the fluid.
NB I do NOT put fluid in the EEZIBLEED, just use it as a way or pressurising the system, I have found on lots of cars that due to the eezibleed not being overly air tight that it can flood some master cylinders.
