no she is RHD but i do recal a friends LHD one and yes it was tight in that area.it might be worth removing the inlet manafold complete, its not that difficult and will give you the clearance required,
you may find when you remove the head that some of the exhaust studs are broken or the nuts missing so it might be worth checking.
you may also find when or if you remove the turbo and look in that there is a crack in the manafold, dont worry about it as all 4x4s manafolds do that and its ok.
the finis code for the studs are 6184363, the nuts are 6163722 and the washers are 1465430.
