Yeah - I did consider one as it’s the next logical progression from the M3. Only issue I have is that I drive my M3 19k miles every year JUST to and from work. Add personal miles and its more like 30k miles. That really de-values expensive cars. Plus I tend to go for it, top speed wise every day. Getting spotted at 168 is one thing (and shitty bad news it would be too!) but getting spotted at around 200mph would be curtains and get me a record that I don't really want. As such the M3 just strikes me as a great balance of practicality, value for money and under cover performance…

I'd need to get the 996 as a second car - or more much closer to work!
