Default Tips: removing a cross threaded glow plug with a rounded nut
Ford Escort TD (endura)

no. 3 glow plug is cross threaded (not by me). I managed to get it about half way out before I rounded off the nut on the plug.

Bit of a school boy error in that I used a 12 point socket rather than a 5/6 point one.

Any ideas what I can do to get it out?
