But if there really is a problem, and they are not on the scam and will sort the problem, they get a public slating and there name dragged through the mud for no reason ?

if he has not replied to emails/PM's for 3 weeks , i'd name n shame
if the fella is reading his PM's surely you would have the time to quickly click reply n update him with whats going on
