no, the piston dropping causes a drop of pressure, which causes a pressure differential which results in the atmospere pushing air into the cylinder.

its semantics from an english point of view, but physics is very fixed on its opinion of what happens.
Chaps....I agree, and I got the fooking question right lol, they were berating me but I do remember it from a physics perspective, from my school days.....but when you get my age though remembering actually being at school is difficult....
