My mate brought his dads X type round today, never been in one of them before and was a bit surprised with how many bits were nicked from various Fords. The fuel cap release is the same as the Mk3 Mondeo and it’s in the exact same position, so are the pedals, head rest restraints etc and various other bits n bobs not to mention the mechanicals. Even the bonnet release catch is from a Mk1 Mondeo

To sum it up its five grand more than a Mondeo, has a shit clutch and isn't built any better. I think only a snob would buy one

No offense to anyone owns one, they are still good cars tho
