The last thing you want is low down load on a new engine, leave turbo alone, and just use more revs rather than a higher gear to avoid load, when going up hill etc.
I stick to 3000rpm for the first 100 miles or so then over the next 400 raise it up to shorts burst up to 4500, then after that increase to around the 6000rpm for very short bursts(5/10) secs.
More important is to use MINERAL OIL, for running in and change at 500miles then 1000 miles, do not under any circumstances use a SYNTHETIC oil for running in.
