had another go tonight... got the complete carrier off this time after using a torque wrench and the 8mm allen socket i bought earlier... didnt like the sound it made tho sounded like it broke lol
anyhow, calliper off, i then took the disc off, how tight should the nuts for the bearings be? this was pretty loose compared to a ford lol, it simply undone by hand as i was trying what size socket it was to undo it lol
i then spent about an hour pissing about with the piston trying to get it back in...
i ended up taking it out the seal and it does screw in clockwise, but it gets so far and then the thing just spins round and doesnt go in any further? deffo not far enough in to get the disc and pads in
what the hell and i doing wrong as its really starting to piss i off!
i disconnected the handbrake cable, but that done nothing..
if i try and put pressure on the piston and turn it, it doesnt move...
so please help me, i got till about 3pm tomoz to get it sorted as im off to london for the weekend
ps one abs ring came of easy, and new bearings are in the new discs - that bit went ok
