Hi guys,

Few who know me know that I have been experiencing some detonation issues. It has been driving me crazy! I wanted to just ask people if they had any ideas...

We know that the car for some reason is basically over advancing the timing on boost - (ie it provides about 12 degrees of advance when it should be closer to 4 to 5 degrees!).

Other than the chip itself (which Stu is helping me with) is there anything else that people can think of that may cause this?

Off boost running is okay, but fuelling is all to rat shit - tends to run too lean at times when only light throttle.

Engine was recently rebuilt, and crank wheel found to be in good condition with no play.

All thoughts gratefully considered!
