Came across this car 4 years ago by accident and my dad has been tryin to buy it ever since....eventually got it and so work can commence!
Its a 1964 mk1 Cortina 2dr, the story goes it was bought for the guys daughter but she didnt like it so he parked it in the barn and forgot about it! When we collected it yesterday, it was the first time it had moved in 27 years

even better, its only done 17,000 miles from new
The shell is amazing for its age, never had suspension top plates and doesnt need them, wings, arches, sills, boot floor are all totally solid. Its not perfect as you'd imagine but needs very minor bodywork and then paintwork!
He has had hundreds of these over the years but this one is gonna be a beauty and a keeper!
Only pic i've got of it in the barn
And then out it comes and on way to its new home
And stop off for a quick wash to get worst of muck off her
and back at the lock up
Cheers to Neil and Hairdo for bringin it home

Had folk asking about it on the way home and folk takin pics on their phones
