What's the deal these days with Standard RST rads?

Are Ford rads good quality? Or have they gone to out-sourced crap (like they have with water pumps etc)?

I can get mine re-cored, but its over £100 and I thought about trying Ford.

Any other idea's for a source for decent radiators? I don't want to change to an Alloy rad really.
