Has to run all eight AFAIA - sorry, but yes the 8-injector one does all of that AND DIS (dizzyless) if required !
Yes, throw them in the bin. It is an absolute NECESSITY for the block AND the head to be faced when fitting a metal gasket. Failure to do so WILL result in head-gasket failure! The Cometic ones fail in a few thousand miles even when this IS done, so I wouldn't touch them with yours
