Hi all my dad is having problems with his BMW 320 D (2004) it will not start when the weather is cold it does eventually start after ages of cranking attempts, when it fails to start the fuel pump cannot be heard running this indicates a fuelling problem.

Both fuel pumps and fuel pump relays have been changed as a result of diagnostics testing by specialist garage.

The problem still persists and neither the garage or BMW can help please help if anyone can.
