Right peeps, another boring bathroom question but I need answers....

I currently have a Vailiant combination boiler, and am in the process of fitting a shower, I am looking at fitting either a manual mixer or a thermostatic mixer (which one is best).............

right I was wondering if anyone can reccomend the better option either manual or thermostatic, plus I want the best flow rate, can someone reccomend a very good shower for a descent price.....
