Work pay for a ISDN line for me at home which gives three lines (voice/fax/data) of which any two can be used together, but it is only at 64k. It is handy though, because I have my home PC plugged into it too, and so keep my home line free.

However, the business line is going to broadband next month, and I don't know what gear I will be getting (not that I will get any say in it anyway)

Does anyone know:
Will it allow me to have laptop (work) and home desktop plugged in together?
Any conflicts about doing this?
Do work need to know what I'm doing? I really need to not tell them (they are paranoid about system security)
