just make up a name and address and put it on the logbook, date it 3 days ago, send off your copy to dvla(send it signed for), ignore the wankers in the clampers place, when any notices come through, photocopy them, and then return the original with a covering letter saying the car does not belong to you, suggest they contact dvla (photocopy all correspondance both ways), they will try to take you to court, tell them to suck a fat one, and that you will take this up with the police and courts for harrassment and fraudelently demanding money, tell them you cannot remember the person you sold the car to and that all the information has been passed to the dvla, tell them the car is no longer your responsibility and that you sold the car in good faith, they will lie, cheat, threaten, frighten and be a general pain in the arse for about 3-4 weeks, after about a month contact dvla and inform them that you are being harrassed for a vehicle which you sold and ask them what they are playing at and why are you still being harassed if they have had all the correct information (do not phone/contact dvla under any circumstances for the first 2 weeks)
Dvla will update there files showing that you had sold the car 3 days previous to the offence and that you are not responsible!!!!!
it worked for me, i had run 3 camera's in an old scorpio at over a hundred, letters came through and after playing the numbers game i walked away scott free all but for the £375 for the granny
you just have to ask yourself is it worth it, it was for me but i was looking at a big ban
what have you got to lose??????
remember once you start there is no turning back and you have to see it through or you are liable for fraud
