is it possible to upgrade a processor in a laptop?

the laptop in question is fujitsu seimens amilo a 1667g fitted with a AMD ML32 which has a clock speed of 1.8ghz.

want to change this for a AMD64 4000+, the same laptop has this in the range.

can someone point me in the right direction, or should i just upgrade?
