Absolutely. I sat there thinking how the hell did he not hit that barrier. If you revist your photo of the skids you actually see the barrier is slightly dinged in where the tyre skids are!

wonder if another chopped up M3 has done the same?? If that ding wasnt there if would have had a few microns of Estoril blue smeared down its galvanised face!
