Default EFi 3i into street sleeper turbo update 25/8(better pics)

Hi guys, my project hs been put off so many times while i try to start my business, but then i saw this on ebay the other day and couldnt help myself. I payed £500 from Romford off Ebay after the mint stratos silver XR2 i was going to buy and left a deposit on was sold.

I bought the car because it has no rust on the floor, chassis or inner wings, even the slam panel is rust free behind the bumper, though a bit bent after a little ding, the car was all standard apart from the wheels and tinted windows, car even came with a genuine ford full closer alarm!!!! shes done 156k and is still going although a bit ruff on idle but engine dont matter anyway.

As soon as i got it home put a brand new shock on it cause every bump u hit the wheel rubbed, then put a set of 60m springs and a escos exhaust on the back, purely because i dont like driving standard car. Then i polished her up and she shines beautifully, looks immaculate, the only body issues are the front edge of bonnet and a bit of bubbling on the drivers rear arch.

Pretty much, wht i plan to do is get an RS Turbo use the running gear and front seats, then leave the outside as is, i like the simple look the 3i's have. I going to have all brand new stuff eventualy but will use second hand to start with due to being near broke lol. Breif idea is she will stay black, nice and low over escos rims, either 5 spoke or monte rims, unsure to which yet, i will use coilovers eventually but will go for Gmax for now, bidding on a set of cossie brakes on ebay already, Turbo rear drums. I'll put a new 90 spec front bumper on ther as the original is cracked from the bump its had and a new arch will be put in, plus the necessary arch work to accomodate the escos rims. The bonnet i'll badboy and maybe go for some louvres put in rather than go for the turbo item. Thats about it for the body,

Engine wise like i said it will be a RS Turbo item taking place and i'll run round about 220bhp using all the usual suspects, piper/mongoose/pro alloy/ahmed bayjoo etc.... I am building a rather naught CVH in my garage at the moment that will replace the other RS engine next year at some point, that will have cossie or gotech managment, newman cam and solid lifters, stage 3 BV Efi Head, port matched and flow inlet modified to run antilag, cossie throttle bodie, dark green injectors, Farndon Crank and Rods, ARP bolts, block machined out to 1640cc, oversize wiseco low comp pistons, GT30 turbo or group n marham shaeft T34 etc..... Hoping to be able to see over 280bhp on his engine, going to use a strengthened RS2000 box with quaife LSD and motorsport shafts. As i said its going to be a monster engine but then i need a promotions car for my business lol. Right i'll kepp you posted on the build, next post will be when i get An RS to break up.
