Hi there all, just joined I hope some one can help, I have just finished restoring my Series One after a long hard year, Engine and box fitted yesterday and lubricants in today,. When I start the car and try to select a gear the lever is just refused. If i select a gear and start the car with my foot on the clutch it will start but the car tries to creep foward, New clutch and recon box, both standard items, ANy ideas? Clutch does not feel nice either, car will drive how ever if started in gear but clutch has a very low biting point. If car is idling and in neutral I have no chance of getting it to select only when engine is switched off.Any help would be appreciated Thanks...
