sounds like your exhaust wants realigning then,if its fitted properly it shouldnt touch anywhere
Same as me mate and mine didnt touch it just gets very hot with over 400 bhp, so i fitted one to hide it.
I can get away with one better as i have carbon on the front aswell as in the engine and it looks a lot better than seeing a burnt bumper once you polish the tail pipe up
