sounds like you've done a fair bit of work. It's a pig of a job removing all that tar with the hot air gun, but your right, almost 30Kg.

I have almost the same set up as you as you except the plastic doors. They are almost £200 each!!!

If you like I'll stick some photos on here.

Let me know your corner weights if you have them.

Mike
Serious part, lets say for arguments sake that the corner weights were;
(1100Kg is more realistic than 1000Kg)

F-L 325Kg F-R 325Kg

R-L 225Kg R-R 225Kg
Tas top mounts
All rose jointed, Leda Coilovers
2.5ID 7" front springs
2.25ID 7" rear springs
serious competition - tarmac only.
Avon 230-620x17 Slicks

what factors would you use to calculate a spring rate?

400-500Lb front? and 250-350Lb rear?
Who do you know races an Escort cosworth? All I have to go on is the rally set up in the GpA, GpN manuals.

Maths, Geometry, camber, castor, bump steer etc, etc, are all welcome. Anyone else reading this can throw in their bit.

Should we move this to the tech section?

Kenny.
