ginge, u crack me up!
the funny thing is i think he was talkin about the bolt on ur engine!

i think i have solved the problem with my exhaust!

i was told to buy a gte system as these have a bigger bore than the sr one.
so i did.
now i just checked and it turns out they do 3 nova systems:

gte, sr and gsi.

all are 2" bore and 3" tail pipe.

the gsi 1 will have a cat thats y that 1 is there.
so therefore the sr and gte systems must be different otheriwse they wouldnt bother selling 2 of them!

oh how i wish i had bought the sr 1. same bore, and would of fitted straight on!
bit of flexi pipe and a grinder will put it right as now ive sctrached it up cant send it back.

i got the car 2 turn over on the key now ginge, so once i sort the fuel lines out, i should be away.

other than that all i need to do is:

mount and wire the fuel pump up. and put all this little lot back on the car and away we go:

brake servo, master cyliner, expansion tank, rad, lights, fan, wassher bottle, battery, wiper motor and arm, finish the gear linkage, connect the front brake lines, give the callipers 1 last lick of paint and mate up the down pipe to the exhaust.

also i need to find a coil from a 2ltr engine as all i have is the nova one.

then its time for tax, mot and insurance and i'll be on the road.
