Active in my area - they are alot more stricter now - even had a moan about my stainless exhaust on my old Pug 306TD....said it was too loud....FFS....wait till they test my Reno!!! - also its more expensive @ £41 - and if it fails you have got to officially book another time & they have got to do the whole test again & they cant just double check the areas it failed on last time like some garages used to do (rightly or wrongly).

Also as of next year you will have to pay for a re-test - which means it will cost you £41 everytime it fails - even on something as minor as a bulb!!!! This apparently is an effort to keep older cars off the road.....not good at all....flockin government!!!
