Did that with the 2 wires. When they come off the stat they run behind the headlight on the passenger side so joined into them there. Tried it and thought the fan was a bit slow so removed them and the fan ran the same. Never really heard the fan running before that since i bought the car so it may have been running at this speed all along and it may be fine but it should bring the temp down and not just stop it from rising should'nt it ?
