it's a long way from Portsmouth to there to look at the car but i'm seriously interested in it and if it's honestly as good as pics suggest it'll be worth me making the journey

Yes, still running std shafts with no probs.
gearbox is ok, no crunching and gets every gear.
I'll take some close up shots of the stonechips and that too
