Ran a pair of wires from the thermostat into a switch in the car as a fan override. It worked but i thought the fan was running slow. I disconnected the wires and turned it back to how it was but still seems to be running slow. When the engine starts to get a bit hot the fan kicks in but only stops it from getting hotter and does'nt bring the temp down as i'm sure it should. The fan does spin when you spin it manually but stops very soon. Should it spin freely or should it have some resistance ? Could it be the fan tightening with age or is it something i done when trying to override it ? Any help mucho appreciated.
