I've got an Impreza sat in my garage that I don't use but it doesn't cost me anything sat there. Being as it's the last of the classic shape and an STI it's gone up noticeably since I've owned it.
I think you've got an opportunity to get good money back for your Cosworth in a few years. Sorn it, work on it when you can, save up for a respray and get it back to OE. Look at it as an investment, explain to the Mrs that it's better than money in the bank. She'll thank you in 10 years when you get £20k for it.
Hi, no to be fair mate it doesn't really cost anything apart from the classic insurance which is less than the price of a takeaway every month and in the summer I tax it. One thing I'm worrying about is we may be getting a house in the next 6 months through a mate and that's got no garage. Trying to find a house to rent with a garage is quite hard work where I live but there is some out there. We seem to look for places with a garage whenever we've moved in the past just so i have somewhere to keep the car, and that's only cause we've always lived in flats, now we want a house with a garden cause we got a 2 year old little girl to please lol
I'm sure I'll make a decision when it comes to having to move, just wanted an idea of what it was worth in case the worst happens
