I have a set of escort gti alloys for my 2001 mk 5 fiesta but they hit my rear suspension, would I need spacers if so what size ?? The tyer size is 205/50 r16

12.5mm are the norm when it comes to spacers on the rear. Try and get some axle spacers rather than hubcentric

They're mondeo alloys, tyre is also the wrong size

I would try out 195 tyres before you buy spacers imo

as mentioned your using totally wrong profile tyres no wonder they are hitting as it has nothing to do with spacers etc, you need minimum of 45 profile ones either 195 or 205

Yep. Take you hub to you local machine shop and have some spacers made for behind the hub carriers. With out getting technical, pack the hub face of the wheel out with washers until it doesn't rub, measure them and that's what you spacer needs to be.

its not the wheel rubbing as mondy 16s fit perfect hes running wrong size tyres which is causing his issue so spacers are not needed
