Default ST170 RS7 alloys fitment.

Alright guys,
I have a 2004 st170, and have found some alloys which I want... They are the XXR 527.
16" x 8.25J ET10.

Just looking for help as to whether they will
1. Fit
2. Whether the offset with me ridiculous and they will poke out silly.

Cheers!

EDIT: thanks for all the replies to the previous question, but I now have another, the rs7s have an offset of ET38, how would that sit on the st170? Are they now too small? So confusing? Cheers people

et10 will rub arches. iv got et15 205 45 16 on my track wheels and i had to roll front arches and bend them out and they still rub. and my coilovers are far stiffer than standard.rear rubs too but on a track car i can put up with it but would not on a road car.

So are et10 even more dramatic than et15? What would be needed extra then to for these in the arches?
Sounds like a pain!

yes et10 would be worse for rubbing than et15. the lower the number the more they stick out. higher the et number the more they disappear in arch.

et10 would need more than arch rolling to not rub on standard suspension imo.

They seem to be jap fit wheels anyway, doubt you'd be able to get them is 4x108.

iv just clicked on your profile adam and seen pic of your car. is it photoshopped or is it really that low?? if it is that low it looks cool but handling will be ruined as your lower suspension arms will be at a bad angle which is not good for handling

Cheers for your replies!
Haha nah that's not it, it is standard height as I'm unsure as to how much to drop it and what not; and as for the wheels, they do come in ford fitment but though the ET was a bit dramatic... Just want it to be subtle and smart

Another question, anyone know how ET20s would sit, I have been looking at measurements and have it calculated that they will stick out 30mm extra... Will this need arch rolling even on a stretched tyre? (195/40/17 on a 7.5J alloy of ET20 instead of my standard 215/45/17 7J ET49)

rears will be fine as axle sits in as for front your likely to stick out past the arch as wheel width is wider too so its more than 30mm, why not actually get ford offset wheels rather than french ones
