Going to be fitting 8x18 et35 wheels to my saff 2wd.

What size tyres should I be using?

Thanks in advance

Billy. Have you fitted these yet? I'm interested to know if the wheels fitted without rubbing? And have you done any suspension or arch mods? What size tyre did you go for in the end?

Reason being a mate put a set of 8 x 17 et 35 on his 2wd saph and the wheels locked up tight on the shocker/lower spring cup.

No I didn't mate, ended up sticking with 17's.

My car used to rub the arches with the wheels in on currently but I change the springs to ahmeds and it hasn't done it once.

With my mates car, they locked up tight before we even dropped the ramp, so I don't see that changing the springs would make a difference. Odd as he has Comp MO 6's in 8 x 17 et 35 and they are locked solid. 225 / 40 tyres I think.
