Anybody know if 9x16 inch rims will fit on a 3 door Sierra Cosworth? Will it need to be modifyed? If so, what will have to be modifyed?

it may also depend if you have coilovers - what et wheels are you using? With the right offset and with no coilover you can fit 10.5 or even 11" (if your brave). I have a pic on my phone which shows clearance of a 10x18" wheel and the strut. Will post when i get back hoke.

I'm more concerned about the clearance at the front. Especially since I have heard people talking about how tigth a fit it can be whit 8x16 inch rims.
8x16 was the size I was planing too use at first, but sinse i't seams that 5 spoke Revelution is a pain in the ass to get a hold on in that size, then I'm thinkin about 9x16 insted.

Here is a pic of my 3 door with 16x9 Borbet Type A's on the rear. The offset is either 15 or 20 (can't remember and will have to pull a wheel to check) and the rear fender lips have been cut back. The arch mounting lips have been cut back as well and are secured to the body with double sided tape. It's been this way for years with no ill effects. For those who want to know the fronts are 16x7.5's. 225/40/16's up front and 245/35/16's out back.

As requested, here are a couple more pics of my 3 door with the Borbets on it. My main computer is down so I'm posting pics that are on the web from last years Carlisle All Ford Nationals that someone else took.
