I am picking up a cheap Fiesta to run around in over xmas. It's an 'H'-reg Fiesta 1.4i L single point fuel inj, grey import, but alas the heater is not working. I have not been able to check too much so far. The temp gauge seemed to go into the normal area on the dial, which is steering me to think that if there is a valve on the heater matrix it has stuck on cold? Is this a popular problem?
Any help before I attack it would be greatly appreciated!
Also if anybody knows of any good breakers or Ford factors in Manchester that would be good too.

the cable that controls the dial might have come off!
or uve got a almighty airlock in your water system

did you say its not working at all or just blowing cold air?? if its just not working just check the fuse? worth a go?

Thanks for the help,
when i the matrix out there was hardly any flow at all, so an hour and a wire coat hanger at the kitchen sink and its back in now with a rad flush working its magic, got plenty of hot air coming out of the blower now.
