Default Fiesta brake light wont go out!!

Got a little fez (N Reg) as a runaround and the brake lights are permanently on! I'm guessing its a faulty switch or bad earth and hoping someone can point me in the right direction as to where to start looking

Cheers

I've found the switch, but can't find a way of adjusting it (no torch, dark outside), any ideas as it seems well fixed and the washer typr bolt on the underside of the switch wouldn't rotate to tighten (not sure if it should or not)

Default switch

pull the connector off, if the lights go out then it is the switch.

get sum blu tack and a 50p piece. push the pedal down and stick it between the pedal and the switch. problem solved

i know its the switch, i pushed it in and the lights went out.

lol @ blu tack and 50p idea - class- but i think i'll key the surface of the contact plate and solder on a couple of washers or something
