Default 4x4 front diff bearing

anyone know how the bearing on the nearside diff housing on a 4x4 front diff gets lubricated? im assuming the gear oil flows along the shaft from the drivers side of the diff / sump as cant see anything in workshop manual suggesting it needs greasing.

Shouldn't be lubed by anything from memory
Just a normal bearing

would have thought it was suppsoed to have some lubrication, plus the driveshaft seal must be there for a reason other than to prevent dust.

The manual doesnt state to grease it or anything so im assuming it must get gear oil from the other side, plus the speedo drive gear has an o'ring. f@ck knows , just wanted to double check before running it.

the shaft goes through the sump from one end to the other, but just like the diff has a seal to stop engine oil getting in so does the other side
