P100 engine transplant pains.
Hi, originally I had planned a 2.0 Zetec but between being unable to get conversion parts and being quoted insane prices to alter or modify the existing stuff, I've found a seriously cheap V6 Essex.
So any input is welcomed. The car is a P100, originally a 2.0 Pinto. The engine is complete. I have a Type 9 and the correct bellhousing for the V6. I also have a longer Type 9 input shaft I'm told I need.
In terms of fueling and sparking, is there a mechanical pump on the engine or is it on the body? Also, same question with regards to the coil.
