had similar issue with mine mate turned out to be the header tank cap was fooked. £3 for a new cap and problem solved and this was after I stripped the entire cooling system thinking there was a blockage somewhere and fitting new stats and pump ect.
The faulty cap was not allowing the system to pressurise

cheers mate ive bought a new cap to try also. so that is absolutley every single thing ive replaced i am going to try it tomorrow so fingers the lot crossed lol. Thanks mate.

hi mate well ive put the new tank on and another new pump for the price of them and hey presto its circulating lovely now so i cant say if it was the header tank or pump but after a lot of changine things etc its sorted, Thanks to everyone that tried to help means a lot

i have just had the same problem every thing is new, the problem was the water was not flowing changed the water pump for another one and its ok now i cant see any thing wrong with the water pump i took of and i got that one from burtons

yeah mate same here looked nothing wrong with it i ruled out the pump with it being new but replaced it again and the header tank and its perfect
